Love takes flight with Emirates this Valentine’s Day with sweet surprises
Dubai lounges turn pink with desserts and themed menus
DUBAI – Love takes flight onboard Emirates this Valentine’s Day, with passengers set to enjoy themed cakes and chocolates, pink desserts in lounges, drinks, and a wide selection of romantic movies and music.
The airline is rolling out curated food, beverage and entertainment experiences across cabins and airport lounges. The celebration is scheduled around 14 February, with selected lounge offerings extended across multiple days.
From mood lighting to limited edition desserts and premium drinks, Emirates is adding a romantic touch to both air and ground services. Customers across different cabin classes will receive tailored treats and themed hospitality as part of the occasion.
Onboard treats
Every customer flying in Economy and Premium Economy Class on 14 February will receive a mini gift box featuring a raspberry chocolate brownie. Aircraft cabins will also feature soft red mood lighting to match the theme. In First and Business Class, customers will be served indulgent chocolate brownies and mini raspberry ganache tarts decorated with heart designs.
On the A380 Onboard Lounge, passengers can choose from a selection of sweet items including lemon and raspberry cupcakes, profiteroles and mini tarts, presented as part of the Valentine’s offering.

First Class customers will be welcomed with a glass of Dom Pérignon Rosé 2009, described as a rare vintage exclusive to Emirates. First produced in 1959, the cuvée highlights pinot noir and features aromas of raspberry and cherry, with touches of cassis, fig, rose, orange oil and saffron, alongside notes of gingerbread and liquorice.
Business Class customers will be offered Moët & Chandon Rosé Impérial. The rosé Champagne is known for its fruit-forward character, with flavours of wild strawberry, raspberry and red cherry, supported by light floral tones and a hint of spice.
Lounge experiences
In Emirates Lounges in Dubai from 13 to 15 February, themed menus will complement the regular à la carte and buffet selections. First Class customers can enjoy desserts such as raspberry vanilla cake, pistachio strawberry cake and red velvet cake. Beverage options include themed mocktails and cocktails such as Love Potion and Whispered Hearts.
Moët & Chandon rosé Champagne will be paired with canapés including marinated lobster en feuilleté and truffle cream éclat for First Class guests.
Business Class lounge visitors can select from red berries crunchy cake, strawberry and pistachio tart, and raspberry choux. A dedicated ice cream cart will serve homemade strawberry cheesecake ice cream and raspberry and rose sorbet.
Across Emirates Lounges worldwide, local teams are also introducing themed dishes and desserts. These include heart-shaped ravioli in Rome, Valentine’s cupcakes in Cairo, and chocolate-dipped strawberries in Sri Lanka.

Emirates’ inflight entertainment system, ice, is highlighting romance-focused content for the occasion. Customers can access more than 100 romantic comedies and dramas, organised under a dedicated Love Stories folder.
